Cornwall Beaches Surfing

Cornwall Beaches: When visiting , we find that parking is very reasonably priced, usually at around £3 to £4 for a whole day and usually you can hire deckchairs and windbreaks for a very reasonable fee too. In August, when we were in Cornwall last, we hired deckchairs for £3 per day, with a £5 deposit and windbreaks were only a fiver. Saves a lot of hassle with packing and loading.

The Map Of Cornwall

Depending on where you are staying, from a cornwall cottage or a luxury hotel, when you visit Cornwall Beaches, you are bound to be able to find a good beach nearby. In the north, we have always had a soft spot for Trevone Bay. It is a delightful location that never gets too crowded. It has 2 really good car parks plus a nice shop, toilets and good general facilties, as do all Cornwall Beaches.

It is well patrolled by the RNLI lifeguards who keep a close eye on things: Ideal when you have a family. Also, it is quite narrow so it is hard to lose sight of the kids.

In addition, there is a lovely cliff walk where the views are incredible. Trevone really has something for everyone. On the other hand, over in the south you are also spoilt for choice. A couple of spots that immediately come to mind as being easily accessible and having all the facilities are at Pentewan and Porthpean, just along the coast from Mevagissey. Unlike the north coast, both of these, like many of the south coast attractions, are more gentle, with less waves. Not ideal for surfing or boarding but great for swimming and generally relaxing. So, no matter what type of beach you are looking for, you can find it at Cornwall Beaches.
